My name is Stanley(Stan)Paden. I am from Needham(near Boston), Massachusetts in theUSA. I got my Masters in TESOL from Hunter College in New York City in 1997. I taught inthe Czech Republic for three years and in addition, I have been teaching at other institutionsfor ten years. I have specialized in writing, emphasizing that writing should be interestinginformative, and convincing at the University of Iowa. I was also the Director of ESL at asmall private university where I tested student proficiency level, taught various levels in allskill levels, and assisted students in adapting to college.
